Description
The Made in Oldstead Food Box contains a 3-course meal serving two people. The order will be delivered to your home by courier on the date shown along with instructions for reheating.
Menu B begins with pig cheeks glazed in a red wine jus, a smoked hickory beetroot ketchup, pickled golden boulder beetroot and ‘chewy’ beetroot – beetroot that has been dehydrated and then rehydrated to resemble what can only be described as a chewy beetroot pastille.
Next, confit chicken leg cooked in chicken fat, served alongside a creamy spelt “risotto”, grated cured egg yolk that adds a Parmesan-like flavour, toasted pumpkin seeds and our pickled shallots.
To finish, our twist on Eton mess – meringue served with a rhubarb compote, hay-infused cream and topped with a white chocolate and rhubarb disc.
